Life’s Natural Medicine

When life throws me through flaming hoops, I smile through the burn
While I feel the burn, I smirk thinking of it as a proud battle scar
When life knocks me to the ground, I grin, knowing to myself that I’ll get back up
While I’m picking myself back up, I smile feeling the burn of my muscles as I climb
When life places a blackened sky over my head, I dig in my pockets searching for my inner strength
While I’m pulling out my inner strength, I throw my head back and laugh, releasing the light.
