Each life is a composition or abstraction analogous to a gallery of paintings; wherein each work is a creative expression of the artist’s life; and when taken together allows for a critical interpretation of the artist’s storied persona. The practice of applying the medium (thoughts, words and actions) upon the various support surfaces (people, places, and things) that when brought together by means of a brush (artist) serves to manifest the expressive and conceptual intention of the practitioner. Each painting reveals a unique perspective into the soul of the artist that speaks to the soul of the beholder. The contemplation of which brings into focus the individualistic endowments particular to the artist. The degree of appreciation attending the apprehension of each singular representation, however, becomes readily translated through the objective measures of the intensity, color, tone, and rhythm used by the artist. The summation of the experience, including the various representations, as it were, is then subjectively comprehended, by the beholder or beholders at-large, in order to determine and assign an aesthetic value to the art itself; and by extension the artist. Take pride in your gallery, it’s who you are.
